Cash generating unit (CGU) valuation for goodwill impairment testing

In CGU valuation, we work closely with managers and auditors to ensure forecasts comply with AASB 136 "reasonable and supportable" requirements.  We provide clients with "live" CGU DCF valuation models to enable sensitivity analysis and to ensure future goodwill impairment testing is less painful.  We also assist in providing "external evidence" of future economic conditions for AASB 136 purposes.
