Leanne Howard

Leanne was until 2004 a Senior Associate at Mallesons Stephen Jaques practising Competition Law.  She has extensive experience in industry and competitor analysis across many industries including telecommunications, consumer products and manufacturing.

From 2000 to 2002 she worked in Baker & McKenzie’s London office, specialising in Information Technology and Intellectual Property (ITTP) law.  She advised on firms’ intangibles / intellectual property strategies in the telecommunications, oil and gas and packaging industries, among others. During her time with Baker & McKenzie, the firm was consistently top ranked in ITTP law in the UK (by both Legal 500 and Chambers).

She commenced work with Mallesons Stephen Jaques in 1996 and in 1998 was seconded to Sensis as a Legal Counsel.

She has degrees in Arts (Japanese) and Law (with Honours) from Monash University. She is admitted as a barrister and solicitor in the Supreme Court of Victoria.
